RAIN DANCE 2015

Mount Litera Zee School, Gwalior always considers the fact that “learning in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere is the most affecting and engaging way of working with young learners”. To imbibe the learning experience about Rainy Season our small tots from Pre- Primary wing celebrated a fun filled “Rain Dance Party” on 28th April 2015 with full gaiety and fervour. The artificial rain was created to provide some relief from the scorching summer. The kids enjoyed thoroughly the joy of splashing in water and having fun in the rain. They enjoyed the whole experience of rain and chills in this rising heat. Teacher accompanied their students and they all danced together on the music. The smiling faces of the children filled the atmosphere with energy and fun. Who says you can’t learn something even while having fun!


SPORTS DAY 2014-15

The school’s sports day is one of the biggest events of the institute as it just does not bring forth the athlete in a child, but also builds, solidifies and celebrates the importance of sports in our country. Mount Litera Zee School organized its First Sports Day Meet on its beautiful lush green campus on the bright sunny morning of November 17, 2014. The day had dawned bright and clear with just the hint of a chill to make it pleasant for both spectators and participants alike. Mr. Subedaar Singh Sikarwar a renowned law professional graced the occasion as the Chief Guest along with the President of Pratap Educational Trust “Sir Pratap Singh Tomar”. Their presence, coupled along with the enthusiastic crowd support, encouraged the students to lift their performance by several notches. The meet was further joined by Mr. Pradeep Choubey a known personality in the industry of hilarious poem. The school’s Sports Day began with a colourful March Past as an opening ceremony, by our four Houses: Gandhi, Columbus, Da Vinci and Einstein. Watching the students march ahead in perfect synchronization was a treat to the eye It was followed by the lighting of the torch thus instilling a feeling of camaraderie among all students followed by an oath taking ceremony Our little mounts along with the Chief Guest released the school logo and balloons in the sky depicting how our students will rise to unlimited heights in the coming future. A beautiful dance performance based on the epic of “Mahabharata” raised fire inside the souls of everybody. The sporting events began with frog-jumps, lemon and spoon race, three legged race and shuttle relays by junior school students where participants exhibited tremendous amount of zeal and courage to fight to the finish amid cheers from their parents and teachers. This was followed by events like Obstacle Race, 4x100 mtrs race for participants from senior school who possessed the same spirit as soldiers in a battle field who believe that in a


68TH INDEPENDENCE DAY

On 15 August 1947, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru who had become the first Prime Minister of India, raised the Indian national flag above the Lahore Gate of the Red Fort in Delhi. The day is celebrated with great pomp and show. Flag hoisting ceremonies, Parades and Cultural events are organized. After completing 67 Years of Independence Mount Litera Zee School Gwalior was proud to celebrate their first Independence day . Dr Kusum Singal the chief guest hoisted the flag along with Chairman sir, Director maam and Principal sir. All the four Houses did the march past and saluted the flag. Encouraging patriotic songs were sung by the students, heart touching dance performance showing the story of the three freedom fighters Bhagat Singh and his two friends Sukhdev and Raj Guru and the struggling life of an army man. The other dance performance was based on the difficulties faced by the soidier’s wife.The tiny tots also became the part of this program by participating in Fancy dress competition. The Head Boy and one of the staff members gave the tremendous speech putting the light on the incidents that took place during the war of Independence.Marvellous solo presentation on Congo was given by the student of LKG. The Head girl and one of the other staff member gave the speech in Hindi and awared the children about the revolution that took place. The program ended with the speech of the chief guest who inspired and motivated the children to come forward and take the initiative to build a new India.Our Director Mrs Archana Singh Tomar enlighted on the importance of freedom.She said if we all want to rise we should not make the misuse of our freedom and do our work with honesty. Vote of thanks were given by our Principal sir. At last the children were given the sweets and boarded in the bus.

SECOND SPORTS MEET

The sports day is one of the biggest events as it just does not bring forth the athlete in a child, but also builds, solidifies and celebrates the importance of sports in our country. Mount Litera Zee School organized its Second Sports Day Meet on its beautiful lush green campus on the bright sunny afternoon of December 9, 2015. The day had dawned bright and clear with just the hint of a chill to make it pleasant for both spectators and participants alike. Mr.Ashok Chaviram Argal, Mayor of Morena District, was the illustrious and hon’ble Chief Guest on the occasion along with Mr. Abhishek Pathak–Cluster Head of North & East Zone from Zee India Limited as the Guest Of Honour. Other dignitaries Present on the occasion were the President of Pratap Educational Trust “Sir Pratap Singh Tomar”, Regional Sales Director-Mr. Bhushan, Key Account Manager-Mr Sabhyasanchi, Chairman Mr. Raghvendra Tomar, Director Mrs Archana Tomar , the Principal –Mr. Niraj Kumar Sinha and the parents. Their presence, coupled along with the enthusiastic crowd support, encouraged the students to lift their performance by several notches. The Principal welcomed the gathering formally and read a brief report of the school’s sports activities and the students’ outstanding achievements of the session 2015. This was entailed by declaration of the Meet open by the Chief Guest. The students then entered the arena with a colourful March Past by all four Houses: Gandhi, Columbus, Da Vinci and Einstein. Watching the students March ahead in perfect synchronization was a perfect treat to the eyes & rendered the spectators, speechless and awestruck. It was followed by the lighting of the torch thus instilling a feeling of camaraderie among all students followed by an oath taking ceremony. Our little mounts along with the Chief Guest released the school logo and balloons in the sky to mark the expression of joy and mirth. A beautiful dance performance by the senior girls on the drowsing motto “Satyamev Jaya

MIME ACT ON SAVE TIGER

Friday, July 29th, 2016: Mount Litera Zee School (MLZS), India's fastest growing network in private-unaided category of K12 schools celebrated International Tiger Day on July 29th, Friday in school premises. Students of MLZS, Gwalior organised rallies wearing tiger masks to create awareness about Tiger conservation among the people of the city. The schools also engaged parents in the initiative by encouraging them to sign a giant tiger banner to promote conservation of the magnificent species. Open for parents, the event had students performing skits and wildlife experts talking about the issue during a special session. In line with the vision of International and Indian government, the initiative aimed at educating and sensitising general public and children on why and how we can contribute towards halting the declining population of tigers. In the last century the world has lost 97% of its wild tigers. According to the World Wildlife Fund and the Global Tiger Forum (GTF) there are only 3,890 number of wild tigers in the world currently. Leader in education sector, MLZS aims at holistic development of students, while it provides best education in the sector, the schools also believe that extracurricular and interest in social causes are an indispensable part of growth for students. Commenting on the event, Mr. Niraj Kumar Sinha Principal of MLZS, Gwalior said, “MLZS’s vision is to shape global minds by giving access to world-class holistic education that promotes all-round development. In order to make a child global leader, we need to imbibe in them the interest for social causes and issues. Our students and parents must understand the importance of conserving our national animal. We saw huge turnout for the rallies and session, it’s very encouraging and we would continue to inspire students and society towards better things in life.”
